Become a Uback partner
Uback maps investor demand for private tech startups: who wants to back which companies and sectors, and which shareholders would sell. Partners turn that demand into deals. There are two roles, because there are two kinds of deals.
Fundraising Desk
One per country, exclusive on funding rounds. When a pool on a company or a sector reaches critical mass, the Fundraising Desk presents the Backers’ demand to the company. In most cases, it brings the pool to the adviser the startup has already chosen for its round, and works alongside it.
Secondary Sales Desk
No exclusivity by country or sector; exclusive company by company. When a shareholder declares a selling intention and Backers want in, Uback assigns the file to one Secondary Sales Desk, which becomes the only broker on that company. Several desks can be active in the same country.

When both meet on one company
A company can have a round in preparation and a shareholder ready to sell. The assigned Secondary Sales Desk handles the block; the Fundraising Desk handles the round. They coordinate: buyers of the block join the same shareholders’ agreement as the round’s investors.
One firm, both desks
Many advisers do both jobs. A firm can hold the Fundraising Desk of its country and act as a Secondary Sales Desk, under two separate agreements, because the two exclusivities do not have the same scope.
What we ask in return
No fee at this stage. One thing: that you present yourself as a Uback Partner on your professional profiles (“Uback Fundraising Partner in <country>”, “Uback Secondary Sales Partner”). You keep your own fees on the deals you run.
Uback brings investors and visibility, not a guaranteed deal flow. We would rather say so upfront.
Who we look for

For managers: the Challengers
