Fundraising Desk

Walk into the round with investors already lined up.

Capital raising advisers win mandates by proving they can bring money. On Uback, corporates, investment funds, family offices and business angels declare intentions on startups before any round exists. In each country, one Fundraising Desk sees that demand first.

Your role

When a pool on a company, or on a sector in your country, reaches critical mass, Uback passes it to you. You present the Backers' demand to the company. Two cases:

The second case is the most common. A Fundraising Desk is a channel for investors, not a competitor to the advisers already in place.

Deal flow, from three directions

  1. Buy-side pools. Backers declare which companies and sectors in your country they want to back. You see the demand before the founders do.
  2. Visibility. Your name and status appear on every ranking of your country, as its Fundraising Desk.
  3. The Uback Partner title. Your profile reads "Uback Fundraising Partner in <country>", and founders preparing a round find you.

What changes for you

Win the mandate. Before meeting a founder, you know how many Backers, and roughly how much, are waiting on their company and its sector.

Qualified investors, not leads. Backers are corporates, funds, family offices and business angels investing through a company. Tickets start at USD 25,000.

Money you would not find alone. Backers come from abroad and from the diaspora.

One line on the cap table. Small tickets are pooled in a common vehicle, so founders get many investors without a crowded cap table.

Illustrative example

A fintech in your country is preparing its Series A with an adviser already appointed. Uback shows 22 Backers with intentions on it and on its segment. You bring the pool to the adviser, who adds it to the round. The Backers come in; you are paid for the introduction.

Exclusivity

One Fundraising Desk per country, exclusive on funding rounds. It does not cover secondary sales: blocks of existing shares are handled by Secondary Sales Desks, assigned company by company. If a company has both a round in preparation and a shareholder ready to sell, you handle the round and coordinate with the assigned desk.

What we ask in return

No fee at this stage. That you present yourself as "Uback Fundraising Partner in <country>" on your professional profiles. You keep your own fees.

Uback brings investors and visibility, not a guaranteed deal flow. We would rather say so upfront.

What we look for

A licence or registration allowing you to arrange private placements or fundraising in your country. Experience with startup and growth rounds. Working English, and the habit of answering fast.

Also interested in secondary blocks? See the Secondary Sales Desk. A firm can hold both roles.
